And 'sew' to Islington

Having launched in 2008 as an online store, Ray Stitch was created out of the desire to find not only good quality materials but also the necessary tools and accessories for sewing fanatics all in one place.

This August, creator Rachel Hart moved Ray Stitch to Islington, opening a store, cafe and all round haberdashery heaven! The shop will operate over two floors selling everything from designer and organic fabrics to patterns, yarn and gifts. With the addition of a coffee/sandwich bar on the ground floor and space for sewing classes and events below in the basement.

The Sewing School run classes for everyone - after school classes for children and courses for adults, whether you're at a beginner, intimediate or advanced level. All materials and refreshments are provided within the price, including wine during the evening sessions! (Grown ups only, of course)!

The added bonus? Sign up to a class and receive a 15% discount in the boutique, so you can carry on your creativity at home.
